Dr. Nathan Light is an orthodontist who believes the best results come from strong relationships, clear communication, and care that feels personal. Originally from Canada, he studied dentistry and completed a general practice residency at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He later pursued his orthodontic training at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta.
Dr. Light has been practicing orthodontics for seven years, two years in Canada and five years in the NY/NJ area. He chose the field of orthodontics because he found it the most intellectually stimulating and because it allows him to build a dynamic, ongoing relationship with his patients throughout their treatment journey.
Known for being very personable, Dr. Light takes pride in clearly explaining diagnoses and treatment goals in a way patients and families truly understand. He naturally brings humor into his interactions, helping patients, parents, and team members feel relaxed, comfortable, and at ease during visits.
Dr. Light lives in New Jersey with his wife and children. Outside the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, reading, playing chess, and writing or playing music.
